Q.What is the difference between "Order purpose" and "Options & surcharges"?

Both Order purpose and Options & surcharges are ways to allow the customer to make special requests, especially about gift wrapping, about a given order, and both can be configured from OperationsSpecial requests. However, these have some differences: mainly, in surcharges. Order purpose does not have the option to add a surcharge, whereas Options & surcharges does. As such, we suggest using Options & surcharges for specific additions to the order: gift wrap, bows, et cetera, and using Order purpose to allow the customer to select the general theme of gift wrapping they want, if any; personal use, birthday gift, anniversary gift, et cetera.
