Q.How do I use the GTIN field?

A GTIN is a unique product identifier code used to individually identify a product. Generally, this is the number encoded in bar codes. There is a GTIN field in the Shop Manager item description page, accessible from InventoryItem list.

Text entered in this field will not appear on your store. However, you can use the GTIN field for your own purposes to identify which items have been listed or ordered, especially if you sell a number of similar products. GTIN will be displayed on the order details page at OrdersOrder list.

Text entered into the GTIN field described above will be automatically copied to the Google Shopping GTIN field in the Google Shopping section:

If you wish to use separate GTINs in the Ochanoko system and on Google Shopping, change the Google Shopping GTIN after entering the Ochanoko GTIN. Please note that GTIN will not be automatically copied to the Google Shopping field if the item is added via CSV.
