Q.What happens if there is a power outage?

The Ochanoko servers are located in one of the main data centers of the Kansai region of Japan. This data center has its own power generators that keep working in case of most power outages, so the user experience is not affected.

In the unlikely event of a power failure that leads to our servers going offline, your data will be retained on our servers and will come back online as soon as possible, in the state it was in directly before the power failure. If damage occurs to a server, there may be some data loss. However, data loss is likely to be very minimal, as we back up our servers every 10 minutes.

We take every precaution to ensure that your data remains safe. Although it's always a good idea to back up your own data, please be aware that the likelihood of any significant data loss from Ochanoko servers is extremely low.
