Q.How does point approval timing work?

When configuring the point system at OrdersPoint settings, you have three basic options for point approval after registration or purchase: Auto-approve on registration/purchase, Auto-approve 12-36 hours after registration/purchase, or Approve manually. Alternatively, you can select None to not issue points for a given event.

Field Information
Auto-approve on registration/purchase Points are approved immediately. If customer registers through the cart, registration points will be approved after order completion. In some cases, depending on payment method or if payment is not completed while placing the order, points may not be approved automatically and require manual approval later.
Auto-approve 12-36 hours later Points are automatically approved at midnight. If a customer registered or submitted an order before noon, they will be approved at midnight that night. If the customer registered or submitted an order after noon, they will be approved at midnight the next night. This gives you time to review points to ensure you want to issue them before they are approved. Please note that all times are in JST (UTC+9) and may differ from your local time zone.
Approve manually Points will not be approved until you review them at OrdersPoint history.
